The Truth About Jack The Ripper
The Truth About Jack The Ripper
Friday 13th & Saturday 14th March
Foyer event - limited seats availableThe story of ‘Jack the Ripper’ is well known to many: five prostitutes were killed in London’s East End during the autumn of 1888 by an unknown serial killer, who slipped away into the fog before taunting the police with a series of letters laughing at their inability to catch him.
The trouble is, almost none of the above is true.
Join crime historian Adam Wood in the intimate setting of the Priory’s foyer to hear the truth behind the Whitechapel murders; the victims’ stories, daily life in the impoverished East End, and some of the 300 suspects investigated by the Police.
