Roles:

• Sidney Bruhl

  is in his fifties (playing age) he is an impressive and imposing man, well dressed and groomed, wearing a cardigan sweater over a turtle-neck shirt for his first entrance

• Myra Bruhl

  is in her forties - (playing age) she is attractive and well presented and self -  effacing, wearing a sweater and skirt for her first entrance

• Clifford Anderson

  is in his mid twenties (playing age) well put together and confident, attractive young man, wearing jeans, boots and a heavy sweater in his first appearance

• Helga ten Dorp

  is in her early fifties, a strong, stocky, Teutonic woman, very direct and purposeful, she is wearing slacks (trousers) and a hastily picked up jacket, a little rumpled in her first appearance

• Porter Milgrim

  is in his mid-fifties (playing age) a man of money and wealth and a little pompous, arriving in suit, hat and top coat and carrying a brief case for his arrival

The audition will be a group read through, with people having the chance to read for any part they might be interested in. This is a small cast and an intense play, all the actors will be challenged to make this a fast paced thriller.
