Front of House
Our Front of House teams focus on the customer-facing areas of our productions and the overall operation of the theatre. We're always looking for people to help out with any of these areas - training will be provided if required.

Our Box Office team are usually the first point of contact for our customers taking bookings for any of our own productions, and external hires. Given that they are the main point of contact, the team often also deals with other queries and ensures that they are routed through to the appropriate team.
Before each performance, the Box Office team also welcome our customers when they come to collect their tickets.
Before and during each performance, the House Managers coordinate with the Stage Manager to ensure that our audience has an enjoyable time with us. You'll generally encounter our House Managers as you enter the auditorium where they'll check your tickets and direct you to your seat.
House Managers play an important role in ensuring the safety of our audience and front-of-house teams on the VERY rare occasion that we experience a problem in the theatre.
The Bar is almost always open when the theatre is open - whether during rehearsals, our Members' Evenings, or performances. Our Bar Managers are supported by a team of Bar Staff but are always on the lookout for any additional helpers...
Our Coffee Shop is open before and during each performance serving tea, coffee, ice creams, sweets and programmes. On performances sold by the charities we welcome, the Coffee Shop team also prepare and serve the buffet enjoyed by the audience after the performance.
Administration / Theatre Committee
The Priory Theatre Company's committee is responsible to both the Members and the UK's Charities Commission for the running of the theatre and consists of a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Artistic Director and key representatives from the Backstage and Front-of-House teams.
Supporting all of these are volunteers looking after other areas including:
- Press, Publicity, Marketing and Communciations
- Charity Fundraising
- Representing the theatre with other theatres in the Little Theatre Guild
- Website / online prescence / IT
- ...and many more!
