Edith in the Dark

Directed by Karen Shayler

During one of her husband’s tiresome parties, celebrated children’s author Edith Nesbit (The Railway Children, Five Children & It) retreats to her attic writing room with her housekeeper and an unexpected, handsome party guest.

As midnight approaches, Edith gives a reading of her work. Not from her cherished children’s tales, but her terrifying early horror stories. As the stories unfold it becomes clear all is not what it seems…Someone in the attic is hiding a deadly secret.

Edith in the Dark is a haunting glimpse into the nightmarish inner world of an author whose reputation for cosy childhood innocence is only half the story.

Rumours

Directed by Chris Sharp

From the author of ‘Barefoot in The Park’ and ‘The Odd Couple’, Rumours is a riotously funny farce!

When four couples gather for an anniversary party at the home of Charley Brock, a prominent government official and his wife, Vivian, it isn’t long before the guests realize that their hosts don’t seem to be in evidence, and something odd is afoot.

A crazy comedy of errors ensues as the guests try to put the pieces together using snippets of rumours that have been circulating about Charley, Vivian and the extramarital affairs they may or may not be conducting.

Jeeves & Wooster

Directed by Stephen Boden

When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker – reconciling the affections of his host’s drippy daughter Madeline Bassett with his newt-fancying acquaintance Gussie Fink-Nottle.

If Bertie, ably assisted by the ever dependable Jeeves, can’t pull off the wedding of the season, he’ll be forced to abandon his cherished bachelor status and marry the ghastly girl himself!

Based on P.G. Wodehouse’s delightfully bonkers stories, especially The Code of the Woosters, and performed by a cast of three who play multiple roles, this smart and inventive production is guaranteed to have audiences of all ages roaring with laughter at this furiously fast and funny show.

Death in High Heels

Directed by Mike Brooks

It's a big day at Christophe et Cie, a small couture house off Regent Street.

Mr Bevan will announce which of his staff he is sending to France to be general manager of a new branch in Deauville.

Events take a dramatic turn when one of the contenders collapses and dies, poisoned by the oxalic acid crystals that another employee has been using to clean her hat.

Inspector Charlesworth and Sergeant Wyler have a murder enquiry on their hands. Behind the glamour and gossip of a 1930s fashion house, secrets and lies are rife and more than one person may have harboured resentment towards the victim.

The Dreamers

Never to be forgotten or equalled, The Dreamers, formerly ‘Freddie and The Dreamers’, remain one of the best known named bands on the sixties music circuit.

Changes to personnel over the past 50 years were of course inevitable but two members…

Ian Mosca and Bryan Byng remain in the band today.

Along with Freddie, Alan and Bryan toured throughout Europe, Australia, America and The Middle East, sharing the stage with Gerry and The Pacemakers and The Searchers.

Alan and Bryan are joined by The Temple Brothers, Steve and Colin who in their own right are seasoned professionals having toured extensively with their Everly Brothers tribute show and Midnight Dynamos rock and roll band. With their unique harmonies and musicianship they add an extra dimension to the Dreamers, who along with the hits of Freddie and The Dreamers perform the most popular songs of the fifties rock and roll days and the great songs of the sixties.

Book early to avoid disappointment as tickets are selling really fast, with only a limited amount now available.
